Research
As global change poses a major threat to biodiversity, our research is dedicated to addressing this issue. We investigate key questions such as: What are the main drivers influencing biodiversity? How do environmental changes—such as shifts in climate and land use—affect insect communities in terms of species diversity, functional traits, and their interactions with mutualists and natural threats?
Based on these insights, we also ask: How can we support and promote biodiversity in general—and insect diversity in particular—in human-modified landscapes?
